| 摘要 | 본 연구는 呑虛의 ⽼莊學에 대한 기본적인 논의를 하는 것을 목표를 하고 있다. 기존의 연구를 보면, 탄허 노장학에 대한 연구는 크게 두 부분에 치중하고 있다. 첫째는 탄허 노장학의 배경이다. 둘째는 탄허 노장학에 깃들어 있는 의미이다. 그런데 이런 연구는 우선 탄허 노장학 배경과 그 의미 사이에 대한 원만한 설명이 결여되어 있으며 뿐만 아니라 탄허 노장학의 형식과 내용에 대한 설명도 매우 미흡 하다고 느꼈기 때문이다. 우선 탄허 노장학의 대표적인 두 저서인 『⽼子道德經』 『莊子南華經』의 서명에 대한 논의를 하여 의견을 제시하였다. 뿐만 아니라 아직 분명하게 밝혀지지 않았던 『⽼子道德經』의 기본적인 저본도 밝혔다. 다음으로 그의 두 저서 『⽼子道德經』 『莊子南華經』의 구조를 고찰하여 이 두저서가 宗旨와 正(중요한 부분)과 助(참고할 부분)으로 이루어져 있음을 밝혔다. 이와 같은 三層構造는 매우 독특한 영향력을 발휘하게 되었다. 노장학에 대한 다양한 입장과 학자를 양성하였으며 노장학을 바탕으로 불교로 인도하는 두 가지 역할을 하였다. 그러나 가장 중요한 공헌은 ⽼子 와 莊子 를 현토하고 번역하였다는 것이다. 이것은 우리나라의 노장학사에 획시대적인 공로라고 생각한다. This study aimed to analyze a basic argument on Tanheo’s Lao-Zhuang Philosophy. In previous studies, two aspects were primarily focused: Background and meaning of Tanheo’s LaoZhuang Philosophy. However, they missed a detailed explanation of a relationship between such background and meaning. Furthermore, the descriptions on its form and contents were very poor. This study reviewed the two famous books of Tanheo’s Lao-Zhuang Philosophy about the Daodejing (Laozi) and the Nanhuajing (Zhuangzi) and suggested some opinions. Also, it unveiled the source text of his work on the Daodejing (Laozi) , which had not been known yet. Then, it examined the structure of his two books and discovered that they were structured in three parts: Purport, main part (core) and subpart (references) . With such a 3-layered structure, they displayed a very unique influence. Concerning Nojang Philosophy, various standpoints had been produced according to diverse scholars. Based on his philosophy, however, Daoists were guided to Buddhism. However, his biggest contribution is that Laozi and Zhuangzi were translated and annotated into Korean, which is understood as a time-transcending work in the Korean history of Lao-Zhuang Philosophy. |
