| 摘要 | 본 연구는 우리나라 불교사회복지의 실태를 살펴보고자, 한국불교복지재단을 대표하는 조계종, 천태종 그리고 진각종단에 제한하여 그 현황을 살펴보았다. 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 조계종의 경우, 아동청소년복지시설의 점유율이 32%, 노인복지시설이 25% 그리고 지역복지시설이 23%의 점유율을 나타냈다. 천태종의 경우, 아동청소년복지시설의 점유율이 43%, 노인복지시설이 39%, 장애인복지시설이 9%를 차지 하였다. 진각종의 경우, 아동복지시설의 점유율이 46%, 노인복지시설이 35% 그리고 지역복지시설이 15%를 차지하였다. 불교 3개 종단 공히 불교사회복지시설은, 아동청소년복지시설의 점유율이 가장 높았으며, 노인복지시설이 그 뒤를 이어나갔다. 이러한 현상은 포교 차원에서 어린이집과 노인복지시설의 수탁 및 운영이 주요한 원인으로 보인다. 사회복지서비스에 대한 국민들의 급증하는 욕구에 적절히 대응하기 위해서라도 불교사회복지서비스 영역의 다각화가 시급한 것으로 분석되었다. 결론적으로, 불교의료사회복지, 불교교정복지, 불교여성복지, 불교정신보건사회복지, 불교복지상담 등 다양한 사회복지서비스로의 개입이 요구된다. This article outlines the contribution of Buddhist organizations in Korea to social welfare. ChoGye Jong(Order), ChunTae Jong(Order), and JinGak Jong(Order) to represent Korean Buddhism have been heavily involved in social service. This paper is illustrated through examining social services delivered by three major Buddhist Orders. In case of ChoGye Jong(Order), the share of children and youth welfare facilities is 32%, the share of elderly welfare facilities 25% and community-based welfare facilities showed a share of 23%. In case of ChunTae Jong(Order), the share of children and youth welfare facilities reach 43%, the share of elderly welfare facilities 39% and disabled welfare facilities accounted for 9%. In case of JinGak Jong(Order), the share of children and youth welfare facilities is 32%, the share of elderly welfare facilities 25% and community-based welfare facilities showed a share of 23%. Among Buddhist social welfare facilities, the share of children and youth welfare facilities is the highest, and followed by the elderly facilities. It is analyzed by the urgent diversification of social services in order to respond appropriately to the needs of the public. |
