| 摘要 | 본 연구에서는 불교적 종교성을 측정할 수 있는 척도를 새로이 개발하였다. 먼저 종교성 척도를 최초로 개발한 고전적인 연구성과를 살펴보고, 그 다음으로 불교적 종교성 척도를 개발한 선행연구들을 비판적으로 분석하여 이들이 어떤 문제점들을 갖고 있는지를 분석했다. 다음으로 선행연구에 기초해서 본 논문에서도 전통적인 신해행증 체계에 따라 불교적 종교성을 개념화한 후 이 네 차원에 속하는 설문 문항을 어떻게 개발하였는지를 밝혀 두었다. 수집된 설문지의 데이터를 분석하여 상관계수 행렬의 추정, 스크리 검정, 탐색적 요인분석과 확인적 요인분석이라는 척도개발 절차를 진행하였다. 탐색적 요인분석을 통해서는 종교성에 대한 네 개의 요인과 22개 문항을 추출하였으며, 확인적 요인분석을 통해서는 불교적 종교성 척도의 타당화 작업을 수행하였다. The purpose of this study was to develop and validate a scale for Buddhist religiosity. First of all, I analyzed previously existing attempts to develop a scale for religiosity and prepared basic preliminary questions. Next, a panel of experts, including a professor of Buddhism, a professor of social welfare, and some monks developed basic items for the preliminary scale and validated the contents. An exploratory factor analysis was carried out targeting 437 men and women with this developed preliminary scale. As the result of the exploratory factor analysis, 22 items in four factors were chosen: 4 items in the faith factor, 6 items in the understanding factor, 6 items in the factor of practice and 6 items in the enlightenment factor. Through structural equation modeling, a confirmatory factor analysis of the final Buddhist religiosity scale confirmed its validity. Finally, the significance of this study is shown. |
