| 摘要 | 이 글은 1999년 설립된 불교 문화포교 및 문화운동 단체인 ‘풍경소리’에 대한 사회운동조직론적 분석이다. 풍경소리는 우리가 일상에서 만나는 문제들을 불교적 감수성과 시적 언어로 표현하여, 일반 대중들이 감성적 깨달음을 통해 마음의 평화를 얻고 다툼 없는 세상을 꿈꾸게 하고자 한다. 이 글은 먼저 불교문화운동조직 풍경소리가 어떻게 조직되었는지, 그리고 이 조직이 어떻게 ‘불자공동체’를 넘어 ‘풍경소리 시민공동체’를 형성하고 있는지를 살펴보다. 다음으로, 풍경소리의 활동내용을 불교문화운동, 포교사업, ‘고통 나눔’ 운동으로 나누어 살펴본다. 그리고 마지막으로, 풍경소리가 포교활동과 문화운동의 딜레마 속에서, 사람들의 ‘마음’을 보듬는 ‘조용한 운동’ 단체 로서, 불교적 가르침의 새로운 의미들을 거듭 생산하는 데 힘쓸 것을 제안한다. This article aims to analyze ‘Pungkyungsori ’, which is the organization for Buddhist cultural mission and movement, founded in 1999, from the organization theory of social movement perspective. Pungkyungsori expresses mundane problems in Buddhist sentiments and poetic language. It encourages people to have peace of mind through sentimental enlightenment, and ultimately to have a common dream of the world without conflicts. This article first explores how Pungkyungsori is created and how this organization established ‘Pungkyungsori civil community’ beyond the Buddhist community. Secondly, this article separates the details of activities of Pungkyungsori into three categories; the Buddhist cultural movement; the missionary work; and the ‘sharing pain’ movement and examines respectively. Finally, this article discusses the dilemma Pungkyungsori is in, that is, between missionary works and cultural movements. The articles suggests that Pungkyungsori as the organization for ‘a silent movement,’ should make an effort to produce new meanings once again from the teaching of Buddhism. |
