中貿聖佳拍品敦煌寫卷《瑜伽師地論》真偽考=On the Authenticity of a Dunhuang Manuscript of the Yogacara-bhumi-sastra Sold at an Auction by Sungari International Auction Corp
In June 2018, five Dunhuang manuscripts were sold at auction by Sungari International Auction Corp, one of which was a copy of the Yogacara-bhumi-sastra transcribed by Tang dynasty monk Zhihui Shan;several scholars, however, were quick to raise doubts about the authenticity of the text. By carefully examining the history of the manuscript and comparing this text with an image of the original, the author discusses the inscriptions and contents of the manuscripts and concludes that this is not, in fact, a fake. On this basis, the author further infers that three other manuscripts of the Yogacara-bhumi-sastra that were transcribed in June of the tenth year of the Dazhong era and have yet to be publicized are also genuine productions.
