| 摘要 | Master Taixu is best known as a Buddhist reformer and as the creator of Humanistic Buddhism. He also promoted the ideal of creating a pure land on earth, which is related to Humanistic Buddhism. Because Taixu does not explicitly link the Vimalakīrti sūtra with his “pure land on earth” thought, the present paper examines his writings on that sūtra for clues about how it inspired or influenced Taixu’s pure land on earth thought.
太虛大師以身為佛教的改革者和人間佛教的創造者著名於世，他亦以提倡創造人間淨土為理想，此理想是與人間佛教緊密連結的。由於太虛並未將《維摩詰經》與人間淨土的想法直接做關聯，本論文試圖從太虛的著作中找出《維摩詰經》對太虛人間淨土想法的啟發與意義。
