| 摘要 | According to Hinduism, man has to perform Dharma by executing Karma or deeds which imply different duties which contribute to bringing peace and making security on earth. Buddhism professes its people to attain the enlightenment or Nirvana extinguishing all fires of ignorance or sins. The Jewish code of conduct consists of those moral aspects which generate elements of peace and security. Judaism prescribes a culture of living by doing nothing that harms peace and threatens security of the earth. Christianity professes universal love for all mankind prohibiting all sorts of evil actions. Islam, considered an ‘umbrella religion’ or a ‘natural religion’, stands for ‘Peace’, is to be believed, accepted and practiced by the entire human community of the world reflecting its doctrine as: ‘One God - One Religion – One World – One Humanity – One Family of Mankind’. The study compares the essence of peace and security in these religions. |
