This paper is the conclusion of national social science research project the translation and transmission of Buddhist stories and the development of Chinese folk tales.After reading several collections of Buddhist stories,the author found fifty corresponding types between Buddhist stories and Chinese folk tales of different ethnic groups according to AT classification of international folk narration research.This is an important achievement on the way from micro study to macro expansion.
