On the origin of flying deva image, there are two views in academic fields, one is that it came from India; the other is that it was merged by men with feathers in the Chinese traditional culture and Indian angels with wings affected by Greek culture. In this text, the author studies the archaeological materials and puts forward that flying deva image germinated in India, developed in Central Asia and the Western Regions, matured in China. This process is not a straight line, but has repeated alternatively.
