樂至與富縣石窟浮雕唐宋時期觀音救難圖像分析=An Iconographic Analysis of the Preserved Relief Sculptures of Avalokitesvara the Savior during Tang and Song Dynasties in Lezhi and Fuxian Caves
The only two preserved relief sculptures which depict Avalokitesvara’s sacred deeds for saving people from eight kinds of dreads in Lezhi and Fuxian Caves of China are in this sort of iconographic genealogy exceptionally designed with the distinct regional style of that time.They are of rare academic worth for study of the local cultures and social psychology in the period of the Song dynasty.
