Theravàda in the borderland of southwest China has "Dan" as their major Buddhist activities,that is,their Buddhist ceremonies are full of sound and color while the Buddhist murals are concrete,vivid and direct,which have the functions of instruction,cultural diffusion and communication and possess the soft power in helping the construction of a harmonious society in the borderland while satisfying the Dai′s needs for seeking good deeds.
