| 摘要 | 吐魯番新出土的闞氏高昌王國永康九年、十年高昌出人、出馬護送外來使者文書，記錄了來自漠北的柔然汗國、北印度的烏萇國、南朝劉宋、塔里木盆地南沿綠洲王國子合、南亞次大陸的婆羅門、塔里木盆地北沿的焉耆國的使者，透露了出使原因及經過高昌往返於柔然汗國的路線。公元5世紀下半葉，送使文書所出的高昌，在柔然汗國控制西域、交通南北時扮演了不可替代的角色。 Documents recently unearthed from Turfan record the Gaochang Kingdom under the Kan family sending people and horses to escort foreign envoys back in the ninth and tenth of the year of Yongkang (474 and 475 AD). According to the documents, these envoys were from the Rouran (Ruanruan) Kingdom Uddyāna in north India, Liu-Song in south China, the oasis-based Zihe (Karghalik) at the southern fringe of the Tarim Basin, Brahman in the subcontinent of South Asia, and Yanqi (Karashahr) at the northern fringe of the Tarim Basin. Also documented were their missions and their route to Rouran via Gaochang. In the second half of the 5th century AD, Gaochang, where the documents about escorting the envoys were issued, played an irreplaceable role in Rouran’s control of the Western Regions and in its communications with the south. |
