| 摘要 | 香寺石窟位于太原市清徐縣城西南的屠谷山山腰間，距著名的晉祠風景區14公里。這里灌木叢生,巖石屬灰色砂巖。石窟規模不大，僅5個洞窟，分上下兩層，但方向不同。其中下層在東西長約12米的崖面上，有坐北朝南的兩窟，本文稱1窟、2窟。窟前正東有石蹬，沿石蹬上行，崖巖之上是一片空地，在南北長約1米的崖面上，有坐東朝西的三窟。本文稱3、4、5窟。4窟上有殘存摩崖造像，窟前尚可見石柱及石碑3通，為寺院遺存之物。窟因寺而 名。據清光緒八年（1882年）（清源縣誌）及現存明嘉靖二十一年（1542年） 《重修慈雲禪寺》碑記載，寺始建於元代，初名慈雲禪寺，清代改名為岩香寺。 1986年，岩香寺石窟被公佈為山西省第二批重點文物保護單位。1996~199年， 筆者幾次對該窟進行調查，現將調查情況按洞窟次序報告如下。 Only fourteen km. away from famous Jinci, the temple is located on the slope of theTugu Mountain to the southwest of the county seat of Qingxu under the Jurisprudence ofTaiyuan City. This small-sized temple has only five caves. Cave 1, also called Cave of Thou-sand Buddha, has a horse-hoof plan and a flat ceiling in addition to a measurement of 7.1m across, 3.1 m deep and 3.4 m high, the largest space among similar caves in Taiyuanarea. Altars skirt the three walls of the cave and each altar has seven Buddha. All fourwalls are covered with small thousand Buddha in high relief, of which some eight hundredhave remained. No inscription indicative of its date was found in the cave. However, thestyle of the sculpture resembles the 4th phase of grotto temple at Tianlong Mountain inTaiyuan, which corresponds with the reigning period of Emperor Gaozong and EmpressWu Zetian. It must have come as a result of the Buddhist prosperity and infectious con-struction of Buddhist cave temples in the Tianlong Moutanin. The incomplete Cave 2 mustbe later than Cave 1 and probably has something to do with persecution of Buddhism inthe Huichang reign period. The construction of Caves3,4 and 5 took place from the 3rd to4th year(1088-89) of the Yuanyou reign period of the Song dynasty, according to the in-scription in Cave 4. |
