| 摘要 | Although incomplete and of unknown origin, the stele bearing the K. 1240 inscription offers interesting aspects. On the iconography, as it is a unique dated example of the representation of a Gaṇeśa with a radish for attribute. On the lexicography, as the text enables us to establish a parallel between the Khmer word kanloṅ and the Sanskrit mandira, thereby honing our understanding of the nature of the place it refers to. Finally, the mention of a “palace” in Purandarapura is an opportunity to take stock on the available data linked to this alleged ancient Cambodia capital. |
