| 摘要 | This paper is an preliminary investigation of Dunhuang manuscript evidence for a culture of vernacular Buddhist ritual in ninth and tenth century China. It explores the hypothesis that the ritual programs evidenced on the manuscripts grew out of local vernacular ritual repertoires and styles,the components of which were adapted from a range of sources, local and canonical. The paper analyzes three possible cases of such borrowing and re-framing. Two consist of examples of textual co-existence on both excavated and transmitted texts, first on P. 2153 and Tuoluoni jijing 陀羅尼集經, and second on P. 2153, 2602v, P. 3835, and an obscure mudrā technique appended to certain variant, and perhaps late, transmitted editions of the incantation scripture known as Guanzizai'pusa'suixin'tuoluoni'jing 觀自在菩薩隨心陀羅尼經.The third case consists of examples of textual co-existence in excavated texts, here those on P. 2602v and Stein 2498. Rather than simply take these cases as straightforward examples of unidirectional borrowing, the paper considers the possibility that they are instead evidence of a much more complex and widespread vernacular culture of borrowing and adaptation among networks of ritual practitioners. 本初步研究報告，檢查關於九到十世紀中國佛教鄉土儀式文化之出土文獻證據。本研究專案，探索關於在敦煌佛教鄉土儀軌文獻中的文本改編與借用的三個案例。其中兩個案例是關於出土文獻與在歷史上傳達的經典：（一）P.2513與陀羅尼集經; (二) P.2153, P.2602v, P.3835 與某些觀自在菩薩隨心陀羅尼經版本的可能後來添加的手印儀軌.最後一個案例限於出土文獻中：（三）P.2602v 與 S.2498.本報告推測此三個借用和改編的案例不是單向的，而是由於縱橫交叉的宗教行者網路及其宗教文化慣例而形成的。 |
