| 摘要 | 談「佛教哲學諮商如何因應死亡議題」是指，如何藉由諮商技巧的輔助讓佛法更有效地、更容易親近地協助生者度過死亡的焦慮與哀傷。佛教哲學諮商的意義在於，透過諮商助人的模式幫助信眾，在其所經驗的苦難中覺知苦諦與集諦；進而能夠觀受是苦、觀行無常、觀法無我，由此進入道諦的諸法修行當中；而其終極目標當然是生死解脫，涅槃寂靜。個案在死亡議題上對境起修，死亡議題作為有情眾生體驗佛法智慧與修持佛法的契機，一旦信眾應機修行有成，佛法即成為有情眾生面對死亡議題、了脫生死之道。佛教哲學諮商在此過程中，扮演推手的助緣角色，諮商師以慈悲心撫慰信眾的情緒，引導信眾從死亡議題的苦難中體解世界的無常與無我，減輕對世間摯愛的依戀與執取，由此消解其破壞性情緒的荼毒；進而發菩提心發願解脫，精進修行，以此作為佛教哲學諮商之於死亡議題的因應法門。 The discussion on "how Buddhist philosophical counseling deals with the topic of death" concerns how Buddhism, through philosophical counseling, helps more effectively and accessibly the living through the anxiety and grief cause d by death. The value of Buddhist philosophical counseling lies in helping the believers recognize the noble truth of suffering and the truth of the arising of suffering, so as to make them contemplate feelings as being suffering, contemplate the mind as being impermanent, contemplate dharmas as being without a self and in turn practice the noble truth of the way. The ultimate goal of Buddhist philosophical counseling is certainly to transcend life and death as well as reach the perfect tranquility of Nirvana. The client is cultivated on the topic of death, which is an opportunity for all the sentient beings to experience Buddhist wisdom and practice according to Buddhism.
