| 摘要 | The article focuses on Ladakh in India and the Thiksay Monastery. An overview of Ladakh is provided highlighting the difficulties in reaching the place. A historical background of the Thiksay Monastery is presented featuring the Thiksay Rinpoche Doe Chamsem Sherab Zangpo and his subsequent reincarnations. The search for the present Thiksay Rinpoche who is ninth in the lineage is recalled along with the role of the geshe from Sera Monastery. The journey of the young Rinpoche to Tibet is retold. |
