| 摘要 | Abstract In a recent issue of Time Magazine, November 13th, 2006, there was a spirited debate between an atheist biologist, Richard Dawkins, and a Christian geneticist, Francis Collins. The topic was Religion versus Science. In this 8th international conference on Humanistic Buddhism at the University of the West, we are invited to present a discussion on the theme of “Buddhism and Science.” My specific presentation is intended to cover two aspects: 1) In general, I am going to present my own critical vision of that spirited debate between Richard Dawkins and Francis Collins; 2) Specifically, I am going to offer my own transpersonal analysis of the cordial dialogue between the Chinese Buddhist monk Huineng and the German-American scientist, Albert Einstein. |
