| 摘要 | Tomakomai Komazawa University's implementation of the International Communication curriculum is raising the standard of language education, with particular attention focused on English. The challenge is clear: assist more students become more proficient in utilizing the English language. This challenge requires an examination of teaching methods and curriculum planning as efficiency will be as important as effectiveness. My search for the best of both has led me to a colleague who has developed a curriculum/teaching theory that has served him well during his time as a language instructor. The name of this colleague is James Jacobson and the name of his theory is "Backwards-building." |
