The famous monks in Basue Area had many associations with local officials.In another word,there were close links between Buddhism and the political power.The influence of the Taoism in Bashu Area was very powerful,which prevented the spread of Buddhism.At the same time some gaps appeared between the standard of the Buddhism in Bashu Area and that of the Buddhism in Sanwu Area.
