| 摘要 | Is there an experience of thought common to existential phenomenology，medieval mysticism and Zen Buddhism? The concept of releasement is examined in Heidegger，Meister Eckhart and Suzuki. In its ontological，anthropological and transcendental acceptations it reveals a cross-cultural family of philosophers for whom an attitude in life is required to understand a thought about being. This attitude is not moral. It expresses itself in verbs rather than nouns：to let be，to break through, to beget. It leads beyond representational thinking and the philosophy of substances to symbolic thinking and a philosophy of the origin as event. |
