| 摘要 | Educational reconstruction is a point of view in educational philosophy represented by one organization，particularly：the society for educational reconstruction，now in its seventh year of organized effort and its journal "cutting edge". As a philosophy of education，it is strongly futuristic and globalistic，advocating radical action as well as theory. Its major philosophic perspectives are experimental naturalism and Neo-Marxism，but it is also influenced by existentialism，Neo-Freudianism，Zen Buddhism，and philosophic analysis. It is a controversial movement，well epitomized by the title of this article："ripples, whirlpools, and hurricanes." |
