| 摘要 | Continuous repeating the name of Amitabha is one of the ten meditation methods. Master Hui-yuan used this dharma-gate to reach the state of the reconciliation and compatibility of Ch'an and the pure land. We can put it this way:Repeating the name of Amitabha is the substance of prajna and the substance of prajna is profound and subtle Ch'an. When one is whole-heartedly repeating the name of Amitabha, a state of concentration and single-mindedness arises, and all kinds of illusion will certainly cease. The cease of producing illusion is concentration and contemplation is wisdom. Through concentration and contemplation, people are able to be free from the control of the six sense organs and the six gunas. |
