| 摘要 | This thesis is divided into three main parts：firstly，we study the historical development of human rights in Chinese history; secondly，we discuss the essential contents of human rights in Chinese mind; thirdly，we show how the human rights provides a contemporary significance in the modern china. The author offers the ethical and aesthetical concepts of universal harmony，compassion，and brotherlove in Chinese Confucianism，Taoism，and Buddhism for the families and communities as the basic unit of interpersonal relation and as the basis to discuss about human rights. |
