| 摘要 | The purpose of this paper is to show that Buddha and Marx，both, have a similar conception of suffering. Both agree that suffering is the common lot of all men. It occurs not as an individual，isolated phenomenon but as a universal condition of mankind which is inescapable and unbearable. Theirs is not a purely academic discussion，but a discussion based on the awareness and direct experience of the sheer bloody agonies of existence. |
