| 摘要 | This article seeks to clarify the relationship between Husserl，Scheler and Wojtyla (now John Paul II). Wojtyla asserts in "the acting person" that he uses Husserl's phenomenological method. He also admits a debt to Scheler. This supposes a harmony between Husserl and Scheler that does not exist. Scheler became a Buddhist; Wojtyla stopped reading him. For Husserl the scientifically minded Greeks inspired european civilization; for Wojtyla it was the work of Christian monks. |
