| 摘要 | The writer discusses the surviving Buddhist sites in what is now the Islamic Republic of Pakistan，including those at Taxila, Jaulian，Takht-i-Bahi，and several Buddhist monuments on the Pakistan section of the Silk Road. She observes that Buddhism，which flourished in the country for about a thousand years, is part of Pakistan's historical heritage. She points out that although Pakistan maintains the sites, there is little money for archaeology and conservation. |
