| 摘要 | "On the Origins of Brahmanism" is an almost unknown source of Nietzsche's reflections on ancient Indian culture. The speculative text of young Wackernagel describes Brahmanic sacrifice as an attempt to dominate the Gods. In Nietzsche's typology of sense of power Brahmanic religion is a manifestation of real power and as such the opposite of Christianity. He sees analogies between ancient Indian history and actual European events:Brahmanic sacrifice is a root of (and a metaphor for) modern scientific domination of nature. Nietzsche parallels Buddhism as the last form of Brahmanic sacrifice with nihilism and the end of metaphysics. |
