| 摘要 | The aim that Indian philosophies set themselves, namely that of liberating man from transmigration，supports and influences the problematic of the ego. This varies with the different schools, but all of them show a common feature，which contrasts with the mentality of the west：the depreciation of the ego in its actualization，in its existential dimension. In the Vedanta and the Samkhya-yoga, this depreciation is on a par with the search for a deeper spiritual reality，but in Buddhism it fits into the logic of a Phenomenalism which holds the human being to be an ephemeral meeting of energies, excluding any form of substantial permanence. And yet，beyond these divergences and slight differences, we find a common rejection of an ego whose development is the main obstacle to deliverance. |
