| 摘要 | In this paper I attempt to describe and critically analyse the principles of ontological，epistemological，and moral order as they are found in the Chinese philosophical traditions of the Yin-yang，Taoism，Fa-hsiang Buddhism，and idealistic neo-Confucianism. I specifically show how these schools answer the perennial question "why is there something rather than nothing?"，and I conclude that the resultant metaphysical systems, despite serious problems, can be compared to the best anywhere. |
