| 摘要 | Sufism is the Islamic answer to the longing of the human spirit towards the essence of the universe，Allah, God. It is an Islamic institution rooted in revelation，the Koran and the tradition of the Prophet. The dominant character is action. This is the fundamental difference between the Moksha of Indian mysticism and the concept of Nirvana of Buddhism. The education of the sufi takes place along the thorny highways and byways of life. This is the only way of service to man. Escape from the world cannot be a measure of sufi perfection. Sufi thought accords minimal value to a God-man union achieved at the cost of abandoning the world and man. So，Sufism is a religious-Islamic mysticism. The sufi is a disciple of the Koran and Sunna (the tradition of the Prophet) before being philosopher or poet. |
