| 摘要 | Chinese aesthetics are based on the principles of Taoist ethics (deeply rooted in its metaphysics) and on the knowledge which derived from the practices of internal vacuity introduced by Buddhism. In contemplation resides the essence of these aesthetics, which attempts to express--by brush strokes or by words--the rhythm of the universe：its spirits-resonance. What the artist obtains finally is the knowledge of the plenitude of vacuity. |
