| 摘要 | Two festivals in October encourage young children to reflect on how they treat those around them. Kathina Day，which is celebrated when Buddhist monks come out of retreat at the end of the rainy season，can be a focus for developing a code of conduct based on some of the Buddha's teachings. The Week of Prayer for World Peace，which is celebrated between October 16 and 22，can encourage children to think about peace in their own environment. |
