| 摘要 | 伊斯蘭教在吐魯番地區逐漸取代佛教的地位，經過一個長期的演變過程，造成佛教在這地區的衰亡，和伊斯蘭教興起的原因，是多方面的。既有當時新疆地區封建統治者強制推行的原因，也有當時深刻的社會政治經濟原因，還有佛教自身的內部原因，須以歷史唯物主義的態度，對這一時期做科學全面地說明。
The paper discusses the evolutionary process in which Islamism replaced Buddhism in Turpan Area and points out that ther were many reasons for the decline of Budhhism and rise of Islamism in the area. And it suggests that it must take a historical materialist attitude to explain and interpret the process.
