The Hua Yan Letters were the classical pieces in fan bai singing-recite music. The singing-recite lyrics could be divided into three kinds, single letters, double one and triple one, and its music also in three parts, odd of hua yan letters, hua yan letters with small huixiang and general huixiang. It was a helpful attempt to record the Hua Yan Letters with staff, and to analyze its singing-recite lyrics and the structures of music as well as the singing way.
