| 摘要 | Walter Zimmermann's composition Lokale Musik (1977-81) was influenced by Zen philosophy，the music of Cage，and ideas of the 13th-c. mystic Meister Eckhart. There are significant differences in the way Cage and Zimmermann respond to Zen. Ethnic influences, cyclic construction，and tonal and rhythmic neutrality are identified in Lokale Musik and African paraphrases. |
