| 摘要 | A discussion of the rnga, a frame drum of varying sizes with two skins, which can be mounted or hung，and is struck with one or two sticks. The instrument is used in monastic rituals or in the theater. The author analyzes the different Tibetan sources surrounding the mythical origin of the drum and discusses the styles of playing appropriate to the various rites and traditions. Also included is a brief description of the types of notation appropriate to the schools of Tibetan Buddhism. |
