| 摘要 | The influence of Schopenhauer's philosophy on Wagner has been more assumed than demonstrated. Despite the attitude of philosophical resignation inherited from Schopenhauer，Wagner created a range of characters in his music dramas capable of vigorous, heroic action. In practice，Wagner rejected Schopenhauer's pessimism by depicting bold actions and practical works of compassion. Nietzsche's scoffing at the allegedly Christian pity portrayed in Parsifal stems from a misperception of Wagner's attitude towards Buddhist and Schopenhauerian elements. |
