| 摘要 | In the course of its preparation from the original prose sketch in late 1857，the text of Tristan und Isolde progressively ceased to be a literary product，as Wagner enriched the musical and impoverished the rhetorical substance of the work. Nevertheless, a purely structural literary analysis reveals the conceptual content of the opera as a picture of the fragmentation of the phenomenal world and its submersion in Nirvana, attained more in Schopenhauerian than Buddhist terms through the unfettering of the will as symbolized by "des Welt-Athems wehendem All". Close analysis is provided of two patterns within the large scheme，the loss of consciousness and the loss of identity. |
