| 摘要 | This thesis is a descriptive effort to develop an effective mission strategy for church growth by conversion from Buddhism to Christianity. The thesis begins with comparisons of Buddhism and Christianity. Then, the author describes Korean Buddhism in more detail, including the relationship and influence that Shamanism had on Buddhism. After this, the author investigates the Korean church in history, and discusses the principles of church growth and conversion. The most important matter considered is a mission strategy in the Buddhist cultural society, which is discussed by bringing out the problems and nature of the Korean church relative to its worldview, contextualization, and communication of the gospel to Buddhist people in Korea. Several things are suggested in conclusion. Korean theological worldview perception and the theology of power encounter are described for a new direction. |
