| 摘要 | Review of "The Female Buddha：Women of Enlightenment in Tibetan Mysticism," an exhibition at the Oglethorpe University Museum of Art，Atlanta, from September 15，2002，to February 16，2003. The show speaks to the question of how to address the idea pervading many religions that women are spiritually compromised by their sexuality and embodiment. It presents 65 stunningly displayed tangkas, mandalas and sculptural works in order to examine female icons in Tibet's tantric branches of Buddhism，which offers a celebratory，respectful view of women's spiritual power and sexuality. |
