| 摘要 | Nietzsche utilized buddhism as a model for the final development of his doctrine of nihilism，a stage which he called "european buddhism." nietzsche always maintained an ambivalent interpretation of historical buddhism，at the same time holding that it is superior to christianity，given its denial of the dichotomy between good and evil，and its incompatibility with the doctrine of the death of god. nietzsche's european buddhism affirms self-created values in a world joyfully accepted as without meaning and purpose，with a blind，eternal recurrence of events. this allows a creative individual to formulate meanings for himself. |
