| 摘要 | 「人間佛教」乃佛陀的本懷，是「以人為本」為中心的教育思想。星雲法師對「人間佛教」教育思想的闡揚與實踐，在中國佛教史上是成功的第一人。星雲法師於五十幾年前弘法之初，感於佛教過去消極、小我的情操，立志要「復興佛法的根本」，於是提倡「人間佛教」顯正大乘佛法給人歡喜的教育大業，使眾生共創昇華圓滿的人間淨土。本論文係以奉行星雲法師「人間佛教」之道場－佛光山苗栗大明寺，作為探究之對象。藉此窺知一個區域道場如何以「人間佛教」教育理念落實於其道場興學和社會教育。本論文透過深度訪談與文獻資料分析等法，進行交叉比對、分析，全面性的探討大明寺如何秉持星雲法師「人間佛教」的教育思想與理念準則，寶踐其道場興學和社會教育。尤重「莊嚴國土，成熟眾生」、「此時、此地、此人的關懷與淨化」、「終身學習、多元智慧、大學社區化、提昇心靈與拓展視野」的面向，並探討五十幾年來星雲法師之「人間佛教」教育思想之弘化，受國內外各界之推崇及其影響。秉持星雲模式的領導風格，大明寺四位僧眾與社區大學徐秀貞主任和佛光會員等凝聚眾力、滙通群思、傳承經驗與興發創造力的教化貢獻，對社區的價值提昇與永續發展，開啟了社區慧光普照的新紀元。 “Humanistic Buddhism”（人間佛教）is Buddha's spirit, an educational thought of “humanity”（以人為本）. Master Hsing Yun（星雲）is the first successful one who has propagated and practiced “Humanistic Buddhism”（人間佛教）in Chinese Buddhistic history. 50 years ago, when Master Hsing Yun（星雲）started propagating Buddha dharma, he perceived that Buddha religion was rife with passive and egocentric sentiment at that time. Then he was determined to recover original “Buddha dharma” spirit. He advocated “Humanistic Buddhism”（人間佛教）to manifest genuine Mahayana dharma teachings which incredibly comfort and delight people. And since then he has kept efforting to enlighten people as to creat sublimate and consummate Humanistic Pure Land. The thesis is written based upon Fo Guang Shan Miaoli Da Ming Temple（大明寺）, a Buddhist temple situated in the northern region of Taiwan that sincerely practices and enforces the teachings of Master Hsing Yun's（星雲）educational concepts of “Humanistic Buddhism”（人間佛教） as the foundation in all activities, cultivation exercises, and social education. This study will examine how this 5-year new local temple propagates the educational spirit of “Humanistic Buddhism”（人間佛教） in its temple activities and community university exercises. The dissertation proceeds cross-comparisons, analysis, and overall investigations on how Da Ming Temple（大明寺）observes Master Hsing Yun's（星雲）educational concepts of “Humanistic Buddhism”（人間佛教） and on how it implements that in its temple activities and community university exercises through profound interviews and cultural heritage data analysis. Great emphasizes are placed on “to adorn the land to be magnificent, and to mature myriad living beings ” （莊嚴國土，成熟眾生）， “ a concern for and purification of this time, this place and this person” （此時、此地、此人的關懷與淨化），“lifelong education”（ 終身學習），“multiple intelligence”（多元智慧），“university communitization”（大學社區化）,and “spirit lifting and eyeview boadening”（提昇心靈與拓展視野. This paper also investigates Master Hsing Yun's（星雲）propagation of “Humanistic Buddhism”（人間佛教）educational concepts for over fifty years , his being highly praised domestically and abroad, and his influences on all circles. Observing Master Hsing Yun mode's（星雲）leading style, the four nuns of Da Ming Temple（大明寺）and Da Ming community university director, Syu, Siu-jhen, are associated with Fo Guang Shan laity to propagate “Humanistic Buddhism”（人間佛教）educational concepts sophisticatedly and creatively in the community. Their great contribution toward promoting community values and community permanent development ushers a new era that every one can benefit and enjoy the Light of Buddha's Great Wisdom and Compassion. |
