| 摘要 | 台灣創價學會為一在家的佛教團體，這個帶有濃厚佛教色彩卻又與傳統佛教極為不同的教派，在短短數十年間，廣佈台灣社會各階層，成為台灣社會一個不可忽視的宗教團體。台灣創價學會其宗教觀念可以遠溯至日本佛教中的日蓮佛教思想，如此具規模與影響力的宗教團體，目前，在台灣地區，學術上的研究尚不多見，多數人對於台灣創價學會的認識並不深，有鑑於此，遂起研究之心，將台灣創價學會的出版品及國內已發表的相關論文設定為主要研究資料來源，並輔以田野調查、深入訪談的方式，來獲取有關台灣創價學會的佛教義理、修行方式及社會實踐方式等第一手資料，期望對於台灣創價學會的歷史淵源、佛教特質及其入世特質能做出較完整、深入的分析。相較於傳統佛教較注重出世的修行方式，台灣創價學會以積極入世、自行化他的精神為基礎，展現驚人的活力與組織力，積極致力於文化、教育、和平的活動，不僅寫下佛教史上嶄新的一頁，也大幅改變佛教在現代社會的形象，讓許多人對之產生認同。它在理論和實踐上給台灣佛教注入了新的生機活動力，其發展不僅將佛教的入世精神推向高潮，並且反映了佛教在現代社會中的發展趨向。 Taiwan Soka Association is a secular Buddhist group with dense Buddhist aura and a sect very different from conventional Buddhism. Within only several decades, it has reached all aspects in the society of Taiwan and become an important religious group in Taiwan. The religious belief of the Taiwan Soka Association can be traced back to the Japanese Nichiren Buddhism. It is not common to have a religious group of this scale and with the influence in Taiwan at the moment. Most people do not know much about Taiwan Soka Association. This aroused the author’s interest in study the subject. With publications of the Taiwan Soka Association and related theses that have already been released in Taiwan as the major source of research data, assisted with field investigations and interviews, the Buddhist teachings, ways of internalizing the teachings and social practice, among other first-hand data were collected on the Taiwan Soka Association in order to conduct a complete and insightful analysis on the history, origin, characteristics, and the secular property of the Association. Compared to the regular way of internalization of the teachings of conventional Buddhism, the Taiwan Soka Association is built on proactive secular self-practice. With impressive vigor and organization, the Association is proactively devoted to cultural, educational, and peace-promoting activities, not only setting a good example in the history of Buddhism but also greatly transforming the image of Buddhism in the modern society. It is recognized by many people. It instilled new life and energy into Buddhism in Taiwan in both theory and practice. Its development has not only brought the secular spirit of Buddhism to new heights but also reflected the trends in the modern society. |
