| 摘要 | 為分析新加坡現代佛教建築在性格特徵、建築型制和功能要求的發展和變化，及探討促使新加坡現代佛教發展的社會因素，在實地調查的基礎上，通過相關文獻的閱讀，以天福宮和蓮山雙林寺為例，總結新加坡傳統佛教寺院的特徵.新加坡“改良佛教”的出現是促使新加坡現代佛教建築發展的主要因素，文章進一步以新加坡佛教居士林和光明山宏船法師紀念堂為例，通過這兩座現代佛教建築與傳統佛教寺院的比較，總結分析出新加坡現代佛教建築的世俗化特徵，靈活的建築型制及多元化的功能這些與傳統寺院迥然不同的特性。 To analyze the development and change of the character,architecture form and function of modern Buddhist architecture in Singapore,as well as to ascertain the causes which affect the development of Singapore Buddhist architecture,an investigation was conducted in Singapore.The Thian Hock Keng Temple and Lian Shan Shuang Lin Buddhist Monastery are taken as examples to summarize the characters of Singapore traditional Buddhist temple.The occurrence of “Reform Buddhism” is a major factor which affects the development of Singapore Buddhist architecture. Furthermore, Singapore Buddhist Lodge and Hongchuan Museum are taken as examples to discuss the unreligious character, flexible architecture form and pluralist function of the modern Buddhist architecture, which is different from Singapore traditional Buddhist temple. |
