| 摘要 | 僧人作詩，無論是在佛教史上還是在文學史上，都具有特別引人注目的典型意義，唐代又是個詩僧輩出的時代，可歷代詩評家這一現象沒有給與相應的關注，即使論及，也是貶抑多于褒揚。本文擬從唐代詩僧和僧詩大量涌現這一文學現象入手，通過對唐代詩僧的社會處境、創作心態，以及唐代僧詩的題材、風格的分析，以獲得對詩僧更為全面準確地認識，揭示詩歌與僧人的關系以及詩僧賦予詩歌創作的獨特內涵。 全文共分為五個部分：引言部分提出問題，僧人與詩歌這樣一種強調豐富情感和文字藝術的體裁是格格不入的，綜述詩僧研究的現狀，并對學術史上模糊不清的“詩僧”與“僧詩”的概念進行了辨析。第一章重點探討了唐代詩僧群體崛起的原因，佛教與詩歌有著明顯的對立性，可是它們在詩歌的體式、語言和思維方式上有著相似性，玄學的興盛使佛教與詩歌找到了契合點，僧人與詩歌結緣。唐代詩僧群體涌現的原因大致有以下幾點：前...
