| 摘要 | 從宗教維度對李約瑟問題進行探討,李約瑟問題所關涉的西方文明於近代迅速崛起的原因之一是西方與包括中華文明在內的不同文明的相互交流與借鑒。李約瑟問題是一個復雜性哲學問題,社會系統中宗教子系統對科技發展的作用,必須考慮其他子系統對宗教子系統的非線性作用。佛教對中國社會和科技發展的作用要經過政治、經濟、文化等子系統的過濾、轉換、折射等過程,但佛教在其可能的範圍之內對科技發展做出了巨大努力。佛教慈悲濟世的精神,與佛教世出世間相統一思想充分結合併在現當代發揮積極作用,正契合乙太虛法師為代表的佛教有識之士所倡導的"人生佛教"的理念,這將為中國科技發展帶來新的動力。 Carries on the discussion from the religious dimension to the Needham question, the Needham question concern the reasons that western civilization rises rapidly in the modern times. One of reason is the exchange between the West with all kinds of civilization, including the Chinese civilization. The Needham question is a complex philosophy question. In the social system, the religious subsystem to the technical development function must consider other sub- systems to the religious subsystem’s non-linear function. Buddhism makes function on the Chinese society and the technical development the economical, by political, cultural, economical subsystem’s filtration, transformation, refraction. But Buddhism has made technical development greatly in its possible scope. The Buddhism mercy will bring the new power for the Chinese science and technology development. |
