The goal of this thesis is principally to study the elements of the Buddhism in stories of Borges, it is also the theme of the thesis. The East-West Philosophy and innovated writing skills in Borges’s stories, which were taken as models by many other authors, and affected deeply the literary arena of Latin America. The study is divided into three central parts: introduction, text and conclusion. In introduction, we mention the motivation, object, the research method and content of this thesis. We divided the text into three chapters. Chapter one, we have an introduction of Borges and his style of works. Then, chapter two introduce the Buddhism''s origins with Borges. Chapter three is the focus of this thesis, we try to find the elements of the Buddhism in stories of Borges. Finally, in conclusion, we study Borges that how to use and the view of elements of the Buddhism. I hope to have more researcher and readers pay much attention to Borges, and to benefit the development of the literature of Latin America.
