| 摘要 | 龜茲傳統上是以小乘佛教占優的國家,但是在西元4世紀左右,其佛教狀況卻極其復雜。出身于龜茲古國的鳩摩羅什,在中國佛教史上有著極其重要的地位。在入關弘法之前,他還曾在以龜茲為中心的西域北道諸國中廣興大乘,使龜茲的大乘佛教一時間名滿西域,為這一古來的佛教中心賦予了更新的含義。 Ancient Kucha has been traditionally considered as a Hinayana country .But the Kuchean Buddhism was very complex in the 4th century. Kumarajiva,who was from ancient Kucha, is very popular in the history of Chinese Buddhism. Before he arrived in Han area,he had traveled and studied Buddhist scriptures in the countries of the Western Regions. In A.D.363～384, Kumarajiva became a famous Mahayana bhiksu,and Kucha also became the center of Mahayana in the Northern Road countries of the Western Regions. |
