The view on the death of the human's body holding by the profane taking an example of the medical is that the death of a man is just like the having been gone out of a lamp. Once the body dies, the man dies out absolutely. The view of the religion affirms that there exists a kind of religious life that it will not die when the body is dying or after the dying as well as affirms that the body is truly death. So the religious practice on the deathbed person and after the death is based on the theory of the religious life. The aim of hospice care is to comfort the deathed person and to let him or her to pass away peacefully. The contents of the activities of hospice care surely include the care of the faith. As a result, the religious practice on death can be regarded as another form of hospice care. Form the standpoint, religion can take part in or can promote the activities of hospice care. |
